Other products that claim to track real-time, actually have a 4 to 7 minute delay while information is relayed through the Internet. With our Global Trackers you track “real-time”. You can use your own PC or Laptop and pay no monthly recurring charges or fees. And it does not require a skyward pointing antenna as our competition does. Using proprietary improvements the antenna can even be pointed towards the ground to reflect the signals for GPS coverage.

 

You can download data remotely through your telephone, cellular phone or just hook it up directly to your computer modem. Track from any location globally or from your vehicle using your laptop and cellular phone interface. You can even set your own intervals for the data log, by time, distance and speed.

Our Global Trackers comes in three (3) different configurations:

 

The Global Tracker 1 – basic unit. It comes without a power source with ready to hook-up cable to the vehicle battery or external power source anywhere between 7.5 – 30VDC. It provides live tracking without data logging. Additional battery pack is available for extra cost.

IMPORTANT

These units use a GSM type cellular phone chip (SIM-card) to communicate.  To find out if the unit will work in your area you should contact several local cellular phone companies and ask if they have the prepaid chips available for sale.  You should also ask them what the coverage area is for their service.  You will need to purchase the chip from your local cellular provider and insert it into the tracking unit.  

 

If GSM is not available in your area you can special order a system that uses a standard analog cell phone system.  In that case; you take the unit to your local cellular provider and have it activated just as you would any standard analog cellular phone. Analog systems are available at no added charge as a special order item. ETACS analog is available for Europe. Delivery will be delayed a few days for these options.

 

Once you have installed the software on your Windows computer you will be able to phone the unit directly using your computer modem. Use a laptop with a cellular modem for mobile tracking. No Internet, No Monthly charges, just use a prepaid GSM cellular phone chip in the tracking unit.
