Technical Features:

1. PA mechanical electronically-switched antenna selector which toggles between 2 fixed internal antennas or a SMA coaxial input connector.

2. The SMA input (50 ohms impedance, DC isolated) spans the entire 10 MHz to 4.5 GHz bandwidth.

3. The SMA coaxial connector allows frequency specific directional antennas, bandpass filters or external attenuators to be used with the Professional RF signal Bug Detector & Locator.

4. The high frequency pre-amplifier of the Professional RF signal Bug Detector & Locator is upgraded to increase high frequency sensitivity.

5. The printed circuit board is new with enhanced high frequency shielding.

6. Both the high frequency PCB antenna and low frequency coiled antenna have been changed.

7. The MID detection modality has been added to give midrange detection which combines beneficial aspects of the Linear (sensitive) and Logarithmic (wide dynamic range) detection modalities.

8. The sensitivity controller (variable attenuator) has been changed to provide a larger control range.

9. The Professional RF signal Bug Detector & Locator is offered with an optional 1.8 - 6.4 GHz Log Periodic antenna which increases directionality and signal strength. It is particularly useful in 2.4 GHz applications.
